Hayley Group one of the UK’s leading suppliers of engineering components and consumables has launched its new B2B eCommerce platform. The launch of Hayley SmartShop comes off the back of over 12-months development and transition from previous eCommerce platforms.
Designed to work in synergy with the branch network, Hayley SmartShop enables account customers to purchase tens of thousands of leading-brand components, consumables and personal protective equipment at the click of a button from virtually any internet-enabled device.
Hayley SmartShop has been developed to enable customers to streamline and support their procurement processes, whether the user is from a purchasing function in an office environment or maintenance engineer on-site checking stock availability on the go. Offering secure and ‘authorised only’ access to purchase items.
The platform enables users to create and specify their own fully bespoke catalogue dependent upon business requirements. It also has the added flexibility of an RFQ function and spreadsheet upload to cater for non-catalogue items.
Hayley SmartShop can interface and connect with leading e-procurement systems to create an effective Punchout solution. These include SAP, Ariba, Oracle, Coupa, Jaggaer and many more.
Hayley SmartShop has been designed and developed by Hayley Group’s E-Business team. The team consists of developers, technical support, and operations staff to give customers the support they need to maximise the operational benefits of the platform. Whether that is by email, telephone or face to face.
Chris Brinton, E-Commerce Manager, stated: “We have been working closely with customers to build a platform that is flexible and adaptable to how they operate while helping them support their objectives. With the first few implementations now going live, we envisage Hayley SmartShop to be rolled out more widely during 2020.”
