The fitting tool facilitates the mounting of different bearings with bore diameters from 10–55 mm (0.39–2.17 in). The right combination of impact ring and sleeve allows for the effective transmission of mounting force to the bearing, minimising the risk of damaging the bearing raceways or rolling elements.
The TMFT 36/PRO ensures that the task of mounting bearings has become quicker, safer and easier. With the power of the supplied heavy-duty dead-blow hammer, only a few blows are needed to tap the bearing or seal into place. The sleeves come with handguard protection to protect hands while hammering is taking place, and the instructions for use are clearly visible in the lid of the case.
The PRO version sleeve is made from aluminium. This durable material will improve longevity and mounting efficiency. The TMFT 36/PRO is also suitable for mounting other components, such as bushings, seals, rings, and belt pulleys.
