The Situation
A food manufacturing customer experienced a conveyor belt failure that threatened to interrupt production. To minimise downtime, they needed a replacement belt manufactured and installed as quickly as possible.
Having previously worked with our belting team, the customer knew they could rely on HAYLEY DEXIS for a fast response.
The Solution
Our team immediately began manufacturing a replacement 2-ply blue PU smooth conveyor belt at our Prees facility. The belt was cut to the required width and length before a mechanical fastener was fitted, allowing for a quicker and easier installation on site.
This approach enabled the replacement belt to be prepared, delivered, and fitted within just a few hours, helping the customer resume production with minimal disruption.
