THE SITUATION
A manufacturer of building materials was looking to improve the functionality of their engineering stores, and the comfort of workers operating the stores at their site in West Yorkshire. The customer had already spoken to a provider of workstation solutions, but this supplier had not been able to deliver the required cabinets in a timely and cost-effective manner.
THE SOLUTION
The team at the HAYLEY DEXIS branch in Bradford were contacted for assistance. As HAYLEY DEXIS is an authorised distributor of bott workplace storage systems, the branch team took the requirements of the customer to bott and asked for a recommendation. Five bott verso computer cabinets were quoted to the customer that same-day, and an order was swiftly placed. The durable verso units would be suitable for the heavy-duty needs of the customer, operating in a relatively harsh working environment. In a little over one week, prior to the customer-imposed deadline, the cabinets were onsite and the stores were kitted-out with brand-new, durable and comfortable workstations for computer terminal users.

THE RESULT
HAYLEY DEXIS were able to supply the bott verso cabinets at a lower price point than the customer was quoted by another supplier, securing an immediate cost-saving of around £600. The site is now benefiting from computer terminal workstations that are compact, durable and comfortable for operators to use. This has meant that the engineering stores can function more effectively, and operators have dedicated, orderly places to conduct computer work, improving their comfort and wellbeing at work. The workstations have been designed to last, and will be operational for years to come, providing a long-term solution for the customer.
