The Situation
The customer, a drainage services company, was performing work on behalf of a local authority in the North West of England. A jetting hose had blown onsite, risking delays for which there were cost implications. Any delay could also cause the need for road closures to be extended and lead to traffic management and planning issues.
The Solution
An expert from the fluid power division of the HAYLEY DEXIS team spoke with the on-site operator, to ascertain the details. Information around the truck pump being used and the flow and temperature was gathered, which enabled the identification of a suitable hose and coupling combination. The solution was available off-the-shelf, and provided with a quick turnaround. The products delivered met HAYLEY DEXIS’ own high standards and also allowed an improved flow-rate and a lower RPM, enabling cost-savings.
