The Situation
The team at a busy train maintenance depot had expressed an interest in adhesives, sealants and functional coatings to their local HAYLEY DEXIS | Rail representative. These consumable products are used frequently on-site and staff were keen to develop their understanding of products on the market and ensure that they were making the most out of the products that they were currently using.
The Solution
HAYLEY DEXIS | Rail contacted Henkel as their main supplier of adhesive and sealant technologies. An appropriate time was put into the diary for a specialist Henkel training expert to deliver a one-day course onsite at the depot. During the session, products such as floor-bonding adhesives, door sealing products, and freeze and release sprays were demonstrated for the customer’s engineers.

The Result
The engineers at the depot were pleased with the training and appreciated the sharing of product expertise and best practice. As a result, both the effective and safe use of adhesive products has been ensured. The session was delivered at zero cost to the customer. Future sessions are being diarised and, as it stands, training has currently been delivered to 37 team members across the depot.
