Work Carried Out For The Steel Manufacturing Industry
The green one is known as connecting rod crank arm, and the red one is known as a manipulator lever. Images are shown below.
The scope of works for these were as follows:
- Collected connecting rod crank arm and manipulator level from the customers site
- Conduct a dimensional inspection and provide a quotation for restoring the component to its original design specifications
- Apply a weld overlay and re-machine the worn contact surfaces to restore functionality and extend the lifespan of the component
- Remove the worn bronze liners, manufacture new ones, and install them in the designated components
- Apply a final coat of paint to achieve a polished appearance and enhance the protection of the surface
- Deliver the finished connecting rod crank arm and manipulator lever to the customers site
