Project Overview
The customer required a batch of 20 machined “body” components to be produced strictly in accordance with their supplied technical drawing. The parts specified a particular material and surface finish, making both machining accuracy and finishing quality essential to the success of the project.
In addition to the physical components, the customer also required full traceability, with each order supplied alongside a complete documentation pack, including inspection reports, material certification, and a certificate of conformity.
Scope of Work
Our scope covered the full manufacturing process, beginning with precision machining of the body components in 1215 material. Each part was produced to the customer’s drawing, ensuring dimensional accuracy and consistency across the full batch.
Following machining, the components were finished with a black oxidised coating to meet the specified surface requirements. Once complete, all parts passed through our internal inspection room at our Midlands facility, where full dimensional and visual checks were carried out to verify compliance. Alongside the finished components, we prepared a comprehensive documentation pack to provide full traceability and assurance of quality.
