In 2020, our centres became the very first in the UK to be recognised as a Certified Gearbox Rebuilder by SKF, reassuring customers that all work undertaken is completed to exacting standards using the best replacement components.

Our team of experienced mechanical engineers staff our repair centres 24-hours-a-day on weekdays and are available on-call during the weekends. This means that whenever our customers need us, we are there to support them.

Our repair centre has two 25-tonne overhead cranes, one 5-tonne overhead crane, and several other job cranes which service our fitting bays. We also have 300 tonnes horizontal and 150 tonnes vertical in press capacity.
Our repair centre also has a specialised washdown facility to clean and remove all contaminants from gearboxes during strip-down, a testbed facility for inverter-motor-pulley arrangement testing or direct drive via a card and shaft, as well as a dedicated spray booth to paint all gearboxes upon job completion.
Our Gearbox Services team collaborate on many projects with our Machine Shop Services team, to enable reverse engineering of bespoke or obsolete components when replacement parts are unavailable.
All gearboxes that enter our repair centre are photographed on arrival, stripped down with all parts documented for reporting purposes, and photographed upon completion. Full process and quality control documentation is also provided.
On-site support is available when needed for inspection, plant removal and installation work.
