Pump Services

We offer a same-day collection, strip-down inspection and reporting service, which enables both our engineers and our customers to promptly get an understanding of the problem, before work commences. Customers get a full written report advising the recommended course of action.

Our repair centres in Dudley and King’s Lynn have between them, two 7000L test tanks for wet-end and submersible pumps, and 650m3/h at 110m for end-suction, split-case and multi-stage pumps.

To offer a comprehensive service, we have state-of-the-art dynamic balancing (rotating elements up to 3000kg and maximum distance between bearing centres of 2.5m), and advanced thermodynamic testing equipment.

Our whole pump services ethos is to help customers reduce total cost of ownership. A big part of achieving that is our Belzona-approved coating centre. This is a controlled environment for applying WRAS-approved efficiency, and abrasion/chemical resistant coatings to a pump’s internal water passageways. The result is a pump that consumes far less power, reducing running costs. All coatings are applied in accordance with the relevant ISO Standard ISO 5802.

Our purpose-built facility enables us to complete both conventional and thermodynamic testing to verify hydraulic efficiency, flow, and head performance. Our test facility can test units up to a duty range of 650m3/h at 110m for end-suction, split-case, and multi-stage pump sets. This capability extends to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) on new assets, and live video streaming of testing where required.

On-site support is available when needed for inspection, plant removal, commissioning, and installation work.

We have the ability to design and manufacture pump baseplates and pipework in-house, to support us with providing a full end-to-end pump refurbishment.
